Over time, Bosky Strings expanded beyond sales and repairs to include music education, reflecting our belief that strong fundamentals and proper guidance are essential for long-term growth.

Lessons at Bosky Strings are offered through Bosky School of Music, our dedicated music education program. We provide private instruction focused on strong fundamentals, proper technique, and confident musicianship for students of all ages.
Our instructors work with orchestral and mariachi musicians alike, helping students build a solid foundation while developing discipline, musical understanding, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Bosky Strings was founded by Joel Lee Ozuna, a violinist, educator, and entrepreneur with deep roots in the Rio Grande Valley string community. With years of experience working alongside musicians, schools, and trusted makers, Joel built Bosky Strings to be a place where quality, honesty, and education come first.
A key part of that foundation is violin maker and business partner Ray Zhang, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail help define the standard Bosky Strings is known for today. Together, they share a commitment to consistency, proper setup, and long-term support for musicians at every level.
Joel’s passion for string instruments and music education continues to guide Bosky Strings and the Bosky School of Music as they serve students, families, and educators across the region.
