Newer doesn't mean always better

A customer came in a couple of weeks ago looking to purchase a new 🎻 for her daughter. She also mentioned that they had an old 🎻 that belonged to her grandfather and was curious to see if there was anything we could do to restore it. After looking at her grandfather's violin, I told her sometimes it’s better to fix an old 🎻 for $1000 than to purchase a new one for the same price. After discussing it with her family, she decided to take the latter and leave it under our care. We can’t wait to witness her reaction.
